Ethically sourced, this sandstone promises a patio imbued with character, making it a household favorite that captures the unique charm only natural stone paving can provide. Available in mixed-size Patio Kits, perfect for flexible and creative layouts, these slabs allow you to design a distinctive pattern tailored to your space.
Each paver boasts natural tones developed over thousands of years, featuring a riven surface texture that ensures a secure footing. Suited to the British climate, the Indian stone paving exhibits durability, standing strong against harsh weather conditions with its frost resistance, ensuring year-round aesthetic appeal.
Calibrated to 22mm thickness, each slab’s riven surface is a result of natural layer splitting, delivering an authentic finish. Hand-dressed edges enhance the organic look, contributing to the timeless charm of the riven sandstone paving, making it a timeless addition to any garden.
Free UK Mainland Delivery Over £600
Our porcelain, natural stone, paving & bricks are all delivered by Palletways. Any orders over £600.00 are delivered free of charge. Palletways deliveries for orders under £600.00 are charged at £50.00.
Local Delivery
For our products that are available with local delivery on our tipper which can carry 1.6 tonne, we can deliver them within a 10 mile radius of our Nechells store (B7 5DT). Local delivery is £15. Jumbo bags and anything above 1.6tonne will incur a delivery surcharge of an extra £15 (£30.00 total).
Delivery Times
Both Palletways and our Local Delivery services are 2-3 days Mon - Sat. You can specify a certain delivery day if you require on checkout for up to 2 weeks in the future.
Deliveries will require a signature
Deliveries are scheduled between 8 AM and 6 PM and necessitate a signature. Please ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to accept your order. Unsuccessful deliveries will result in a re-delivery charge of £30 per pallet or £30 per Local BFS delivery.
All deliveries are made to the kerbside or the nearest accessible flat surface. The decision to deliver on the driveway is at the discretion of Palletways or the BFS driver.
It is advised to inspect items upon delivery before signing for any potential damage, discrepancies, or missing items. Our Palletways and BFS drivers will allow ample time for you to do so.
In the event of any breakages, please mark it as ‘Damaged on Arrival’. Otherwise, the pallet courier will not accept responsibility for breakages. Kindly contact our customer services team within 48 hours of delivery, and they will be happy to assist in resolving any issues. Please refrain from installing any damaged or incorrect items, as we will be unable to replace or refund items that have been installed.
Please be aware that drivers are unable to dispose of packaging materials, including pallets. It is the responsibility of the customer to appropriately dispose of these items.
We strongly advise against scheduling builders or tradespeople solely based on delivery dates or timeframes. It is recommended that you receive and verify items from us before initiating any preparatory work. We cannot accept liability for any costs incurred due to delivery-related issues.
Customers should inform us of any accessibility challenges prior to placing an order.
If, for any reason, a customer wishes to return goods, a return and restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Thanks to the Team at BFS building merchants. I can’t fault the customer service they have delivered definitely worthy of the 5 stars. The delivery was on time, the items were of a great quality. The guy who delivered (apologies as I didn’t catch a name) asked where we wanted the items to be put before starting to unload the truck. He was extremely helpful. And again afterwards upon realising a few had not been ordered by ourselves. We called the office and asked the question if there was any help with another delivery of the other items. They were excellent in helping us and it was no trouble sorting it out. Would 100% recommend purchasing from them. Wow! This place has everything for your building and gardening supplies. I went there first time and was very pleased that I found this place on Facebook. I saw some slabs that I liked and contacted the seller called Jairaj, who responded very quickly to my query. Jairaj offered me the best price that I couldn’t refuse. Jairaj kept great communication throughout the time of me collecting the slabs. Once I arrived at BFS I met Dilraj who was very friendly and helpful, Dilraj guided me to customer service to make the payment for my order. Dilraj loaded the slabs into the vehicle which was very kind of him and I am very pleased with the quality of the slabs i received. The staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful.
